I'm an expert on quitting smoking, since I've done it so many times before (LOL). Seriously, this is a substantial piece of gum with long lasting flavor. I use fewer pieces than some of the other brands that cost considerably more. I highly recommend this product.

Habitrol fruit flavored gum is a cheaper alternative to higher priced nicotine gums such as Nicorette. It's softer that Nicorette, and some say it tastes better. I thought so at first, it just starts to taste like cherry chloraseptic spray after a few days. This isn't bad though, because the product does work. I'll be buying more of it very soon!

We had been looking for nicotinelle but could not find it in the pharmacies in the us, only nicorette which is very hard to chew. Then we learned that habitrol is the same as nicotinelle. The price is also better then for the same amount of nicorette.

This gum was cheap, so I got it thinking I don't need the best tasting product and I'd rather get a larger quantity. Boy did I mess up. Not only does the gum not taste good, it literally falls apart, like crumbles as you chew it. Its hard to even explain it, its not something gum should do though. I give it 2 stars because some of the pieces didn't do this and maybe I just had a bad batch, but the majority of them would do this and you couldn't even keep it in your mouth after it started to fall apart. I would NOT recommend this to anyone trying to quit smoking, it will just irritate you even more!

Habitrol is a great product at a great price. Works as well as the other brands priced around $40 or more.
