Powerful little critter!Jan 25, 2010

Yeah, okay, well! I hooked this thing up to my arms today, just to see what it would do. I assumed from looking at it that it was going to be a joke and wouldn't do anything. Uh, wrong. I wet the inside of my arms, applies the large pads, turned it on, and felt just a little bit of a sensation, so I turned it up - gave it a good, hard crank. My entire arms beging to jolt uncontrollably! Yes, I'm serious. I like to not have gotten this thing turned back down for the shaking. How on earth THAT much energy can be derived from a 9-volt battery is beyond me. Lesson learned - don't judge a mouse by it's cover, and 9-volt batteries CAN kill.

Mighty Mouse Indeed!Dec 07, 2009
By Nuknuk First of all, do not compare this with a real personal massage.
Now that we have set that straight, let me tell you about this product. This unassuming, cheap looking plastic, that is called a massage mouse is simply amazing. Have you been to a chiropractor? I have. I went to a chiro for 6 months after ruining my back when we moved 5 years ago. They strapped me to a similar gadget on my back with two leads. Electric impulses sent through the wires which cause my muscles to tingle. I lay there for 20 minutes and then send my insurance a bill for a hundred bucks. Of course, what they hook me on is a bigger more professional looking device; but nevertheless, at least, for me the feeling is the same. It is extremely relaxing. It never occurred to me that you can have your own personal tension reliever gadget. While using this, I listen to my favorite soothing music and it is just great.
This is made by Hi-Dow. They have several models and this mouse is the least inexpensive. It comes with a 9 volt battery, 2 pairs of pads (1 big that is shaped like little hands and a smaller egg-shaped pads), the wires, manual, the mouse, and ears. The ears has no use at all except to make it look like more of a mouse. It says in the manual that it can be used as a document holder. Sound weird, but that's OK. Their more expensive models can range to 100 to 300$ and you can see them being offered on those little carts on the malls. Those can be more powerful, has more combination of massage types, comes with a digital LCD screen, or you can hook two pairs of leads to be used by more than one persons or for multiple body locations.
This model has 3 modes including a combination cycle of massages. It has a small on/off switch that also set the intensity of the electric current. 1 hour automatic turn-off. If you have body aches and muscle pains, this gadget can work wonders.
(But of course, you should seek professional medical advice first concerning one's health.)

a very happy customerSep 04, 2008
By michelle This mouse is wonderful. I was in a car accident 7 months ago and was getting slow results from my doctor and chiropracter. This mouse has really sped up my healing. I am finally have longer times of little or no pain. I have used this twice each day for a week. I have also used a hot pack over the pads.
My first day though I used it a lot and had it in a more intense mode and was sore in the morning. It is better to do it in a lower setting and longer. Just like starting out in exersising.
The only problem was the amazon site shows a more expensive one with the usb cable for 49.99, but the actual price is more for this unit. they first sent me the older model but when I called them they sent out the more expensive one since it was an error on their part.
The usb cable works great and I also have a razor phone and the charger is the same connection for the mouse.

GreatSep 17, 2009
By Marion D. Austin This product works great for its intended purpose and it is also a good laugh while drinking with your friends. It comes with 2 sets of pads one is a small set and the other one is a large set. It has a rotary adjustment for the intensity and a push button to change the modes.
Massage MouseDec 22, 2011
By Jeanine Ruzycki This mouse works great as long as you follow the instructions. Do not let children use this product without adult supervision. Very relaxing and works like the machines at the chiropractors office.
